Bodykits / Huge exhaust tips
4. The car body/Exterior
While its very unlikely that you would be pushing to the limits a standard vehicle, or cornering hard enough – aerodynamics come into major effect when we talk fast rides.
Awd, fwd or rwd - aerodynamics ensure that the car stays grounded when cornering and stable on the road when you’re driving at a crazy high speed. The body kit of the fast cars plays an essential role for facilitating the car to more effectively cut through the air and let the car remain stable on the ground.
Interestingly, it’s exactly those drivers with not so impressive cars that keep on putting full race inspired bodykits in the imaginary pursuit that their car would manage to look on par with sports cars that are proven to be fast – which rather than improving, deteriorate the vehicle performance, as they increase weight and sometimes even the drag of the car. So, in case you’re opting for achieving better speed - we are talking no body kits on your car.
5. Bigger Exhaust... Really?
A full exhaust system is essential for getting rid of the waste gasses and freeing more power for your engine to smoothly operate. This could be achieved in two ways – by reducing the amount of restrictions (mufflers and catalytic converters), or by increasing the diameter of the system, which will help you manage backpressure better. However, an enormous exhaust tip at the end of a stock exhaust system won’t do much in regards to power, unless you have ameliorated the efficiency of the rest of the system too.
6. Do you think that the premium gasoline will give you extra power?
There is a never-ending debate surrounding the benefits of the premium fuel. According to some it has great benefits to mod your car, while others claim that it’s just a trick that the oil producers use to earn more money from the oblivious consumer.
The truth is that premium fuel has almost no effect on everyday cars and is something that only high performance cars needs, due to its less impurities, the quality of fuel will remain good over time. If you’re not a sports car owner yourself, however, you’d better stick to the regular fuel and invest your money in more effective performance mods.
7. Big wheels
If you want to change the looks of your car and presence on the road – getting a new set of wheels will help you immediately achieve that. However, the wider and thicker wheels won’t enhance your car performance, but only increase you car’s weight. insane cars
Plus, the wider wheels create more friction, which while beneficial in terms of cornering, will take a lot from you in terms of speed when driving straight. What you need to do in order to enhance your car’s performance is buy a set of wheels and tyres that are suitable for your car.
