Have you heard of an anime that’s turned into a great movie? Wangan Midnight is the exception that narrated about a young street racer who wants to win over the pro racers on the streets of Tokyo. For the purpose he restores an old Datsun 240Z he has previously found in a junkyard.
During the film the 240Z challenges everything from JDM legends like the Skyline R34 GT-R and Mazda RX7 to Ferraris and Porsches. Unfortunately, the film was released only in Japanese so in case you don’t know Japanese hehe just turn on the subtitles and enjoy.

Bullitt

Bullitt is a 1968 American dramatic thriller film produced by Philip D'Antoni that stars Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset. Robert Duvall also has a small role in the film as a taxi driver who feeds information to McQueen. The film is based on the 1963 novel, Mute Witness, by Robert L. Fish (a.k.a. Robert L. Pike) and the screenplay is put together by Alan R. Trustman and Harry Kleiner.
Released by Warner Bros.-Seven Arts on October 17, 1968, Bullpit was a box office smash, also winning the Academy Award for Best Film Editing (Frank P. Keller) and getting nominated for Best Sound. The screenplay writers Trustman and Kleiner won a 1969 Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for Best Motion Picture Screenplay. But why is Bullitt part of our list? Because it’s famous for the car chase scene that takes place in the streets of San Francisco being considered as one of the most extraordinary scenes in the history of film.

Two Lane Blacktop is a film for any fan of old muscle cars. The story revolves around two men that travel around in a highly modified Chevrolet 150 to drag race everyone who has the guts to say yes. The film culminates when they stumble upon a Pontiac GTO and decide to race across America to Washington D.C. The featured cars will please any classic muscle fan, with Dodge Coronets and Charger Daytonas being the leading rides. The movie has also great educational purpose, as it will tell you a lot about the culture of drag racing back in the late 60s and early 70s.

Any Fast And Furious

Even though the original plot of the film has been altered to an extend that now the worries of the main actors revolve around problems such as how to save the world from a nuclear attack – the cars that appear throughout the film are pretty impressive. We promise you that there will be at least one car in each of the ‘Fast and Furious’ movies that will make you pleased. From classic muscle to tuned imports and supercars – you can literally see everything in a ‘F&F’ movie.
